We are an airsoft club with an emphasis on fighting hard and fast, having a good time and building a strong network of members who stand beside one another.
Founded in 2004 by PC gamers armed with gas pistols, springers and a lone AEG, RuB Core Airsoft established itself as a leading club within the NZ airsoft community from the very start.
RuB Core plays across multiple locations throughout the Wellington region, offering diverse terrain from urban close-quarter battles to expansive outdoor fields where we host annual events bringing in large numbers of players from across the country, along with our signature Battle Truck, in-house manufactured RPGs and everything else required for a truly unforgettable experience.
Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the sport, our club welcomes all people at all levels.

How We Play
Woodland
Classic outdoor airsoft in forest or field environments.
CQB
Close Quarters Battle. Fast-paced action in tight, indoor environments.

Could be competition nationals focused, or handcrafted boutique story games such as Fury Forest or a mix such as our Commander Commander series.

Commander Commander: C3
3 Teams of 20 will Skirm against each other in true RuB fashion, with adaptive objectives, random events and a few surprises thrown in along the way - no boring stalemates, long respawn loops or milsim wank here, this is a gritty milskirm at its finest.

Commander Commander: Rolling Thunder
Commander Commander: ROLLING THUNDER is a fast paced action packed game mode, featuring rolling timed attack on objectives, ambushes and chaos in a Ho Ree Shiet trail in the infamous Tangimoana forest.
Fury Forest 3
In the wake of recent power struggles within Fury Forest, dust has begun to settle on a once sprawling wasteland sanctuary - factions fall back to lick their wounds, the quiet will not last forever.

Do I need my own equipment to play?
Not at all! We have a full range of rental gear available, and your first games free!. We have guns, masks, vests, etc. Just let us know on the Facebook event or message us.
What is the minimum age to play?
The minimum age to play is 18.
